The Filipino Food Blogging Event

Lasang Pinoy 3: Pinoy Streetfood

Lasang Pinoy 3 is all about the food sold in and along Philippines streets, a cornucopia of streetside delights that sometimes borders on the exotic, but nevertheless an always available and easily accessible form of snacks, pantawid gutom, mini-meals, food adventure, and most often than not, a way to rebel from parents wary of hepatitis being picked up by their children.

A total of thirty-six entries in thirty-two blogs participated in the event, with the links here.

Lasang Pinoy 2: Cooking Up A Storm

Lasang Pinoy 3The second edition of Lasang Pinoy is all about food we associate with the bagyo (typhoon/storm) season. Contributors were encouraged to come up with food related posts about the food they had during storm-lashed days which is quite frequent in the Philippines during the wet season.

The event gathered a total of 24 Filipino food bloggers from around the world who relived their childhood memories of devastating typhoons in days past.
